 There seems to be some misconception: nconfig.exe is not a "NetWare" toll. It is a tool for Mercury in NDS mode. It reads the synonym entries from NDS/eDirectory (attribute "EMail address") and wrties them in a database for Mercury to read. There is a different method available in Mercury/32 to store synonyms (the NDS attribute "Internet EMail Address") but in our environment this attribute is reserverd for other uses.

Hi,

the important admin  tool nsynonym.exe is still only delivered as an old 16bit exe . We are upgrading our servers to 64bit Windows so I need a 32bit version of this tool. Is there any way to get an updated version of nsynonym.exe ?

I'm afraid I can't help with the Netware tool, but a 32 bit version of fsynonym.exe can be downloaded here:

Thank you for the link, but this I already found in an older post on this forum.

The fsynonym.exe is unfortunately not what I am looking for, I want to read the synonym entry in NDS (Attribute "EMail Address"), we don't have a separate synonym file.

Will there be a new version of nsynonym.exe with the upcoming release of Mercury?
