Moving email messages

Sorry, my mistake.

Found out the function only works with mail-folder to mail-folder.  My destination folder was a file-folder [:$]

Redid the folder as a mail-folder and works [8-|]

I cannot figure out how to get the selected message to work.

Tried using the button and keying [M], the [Select Folder] dialog opens, I select the folder I want the selected message to move to, then what [:^)]

Keying [Enter] with the selected folder does nothing but open/close the folder, the message does NOT move.

Please, step-by-step instructions on moving an email message to another folder.

If the destination folder is selected, pressing [Enter] should execute the move.  Double clicking on the destination folder name should also execute the move.

Try closing the message, selecting it, key [M], then double click on the destination folder.

That's my problem.  After selecting the destination folder, [Enter] nor double-click moves the message [N]  All [Enter] or double-click does is open/close the destination folder.

Same result if I key [M] to move.

NOTE:  This is on my Win7 64 bit rig.

Is the problem specific to a single message or to all messages?

Any changes to your system since moves worked or is this a new installation of Pegasus Mail?

Are you retrieving mail via IMAP or POP3?  If IMAP, I can't help.  If POP3 then here are a couple of things I would try to begin to diagnose the problem.

1. Restart Pegasus Mail then test

2. Create a new folder then see if you can move messages into that folder

Maybe the message is marked "read-only"? If so you should be able to copy it to another folder ...
