I just downloaded latest version of XAMPP which comes along with latest version of Mercury and other module. After successfully installation of all module, I tried to launch Mercury, but it crashes all the time. I don't understand, what to do ? When I checked Event Viewer, then found following log :

problem event name: APPCRASH

Application name: mercury.exe

Application Version:4.6.2.0

Fault Module name: MERCURYE.DLL

Fault Module version: 4.6.2.0

I tried everything like re-installation, Window restart and other option whatever possible and found over internet. But, not working. I install same software on different system and having same issue whereas other modules like Tomat, Apache are working fine.

Could be a lot of things. Verify that the settings file mercury.ini isn't damaged, make sure there isn't any problems with file access rights, disable any realtime anti-malware product that may be interfering with file access to the Mercury directory. If it actually is version 4.62 I would suggest updating to 4.80, available from the Downloads section. Finally, read the PDF manual and check that settings in mercury.ini are reasonable (XAMPP has been known to have some rather odd default settings for Mercury).
