You can manipulate folders in an added mailbox like normal so adding one should not be a problem unless that directory is set as read only or permissions are blocking access.

This enquiry is in the context of adding a new folder to an existing Archive Mailbox. I can add another Archive Mailbox using the Folders Menu and selecting "Add MailBox to List". But that adds a new mailbox, which is not what I want. I want an additional Archive Folder in an existing Archive Mailbox. It doesn't seem to appear in Help, nor in a Menu.
