If you want to send the mail off the mercury hosting server, the xxxxxxx.com domain cannot be in your local domains list - found under configurations/core tab localdomains

<P>Hi all.</P> <P>I'm trying to configure MercuryMail to relay email. It seems to work fine under certain circumstances but not others.</P> <P>The problem seems to occur when relaying emails where the sender and the recipient are on the same domain. For example, the following email would be relayed succesfully - From: <A href="mailto:a@xxxxxx.com">a@xxxxxx.com</A> To: <A href="mailto:a@yyyyyy.com">a@yyyyyy.com</A> Subject: Test Text: Test message But an email of the following form is not relayed: From: <A href="mailto:a@xxxxxx.com">a@xxxxxx.com</A> To: <A href="mailto:z@xxxxxx.com">z@xxxxxx.com</A> Subject: Test Text: Test message Just wondered if there is a setting in Mercury preventing this type of message being sent?</P>

<P>Mercury won't relay messages when it is told the destination domain is local.</P> <P>What are your settings and what is the error message you are getting?</P>
