Reindexing will only do it, if the problem is in indexfile of folder. If the problem is in file holding the mails of folder (the bigger one), that wont do it. You may try to free the space used by the empty folder (sorry - have german Pegasus, don't know exact text of menuepoint in contextmenue in english). But if that doesn't do it, deleting the folderfiles on closed Pegasus is the only but successful way.

I am trying to understand a problem that occurred yesterday on a friend's computer:

Pegasus reported an inconsistency of the main folder. I could reindex it open it etc. But the inconsistency reappeared. I moved all mails to a different folder. But Pegasus still complained about the inconsisteny of the supposedly empty folder (which still occupied considerable disk space) - even after reindexing.

Any idea what is going on?

I then deleted the main folder and recreated it. Presently the folder is ok. But I am afraid the problem may reappear.
