Re-download POP3 mail

I apologize if this question has been asked and answered.

I'm transitioning to a new HDD.

I installed a new HHD (Win7Pro) and installed PMail ver 4.7. The old HHD (Win7 Pro) is still installed and operating Pmail ver 4.7 as well. Because not all programs have been reinstalled on the new drive I find myself booting up and using the old drive for periods at a time and will retrieve my mail while using that drive. I did map the mail box location on the new PMail instance to the mail box location on the old drive thinking it would keep things in sync but that does not appear to be the case for the new mail folder. When I boot up to the new drive and go to download my mail, it will only retrieve the unread mail received since the last time it was downloaded, which was on the old drive. I guess this would have to be the case or else the new mail would be duplicated on every down load.

I would like to get the two "new mail" instances of PMail in sync. I guess my question is this...is there a way to force Pmail to download mail that still remains on the server that was downloaded by another instance of PMail. I seem to recall doing this years ago but those PMail installations were on different computers at different locations.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Explain what you did when you "mapped" the mailbox location on the new drive to the one on the old drive because if the new installation of Pegasus Mail was told that the mailbox location was the mailbox then all should be well.  Pegasus Mail should look and act the same regardless of which one is executed.

If the end goal is to retire the old drive then consideration should be given to the mailbox directory being on the new drive.  Regardless, I would stop accessing mail with one of the instances (probably the new one if it's not too extensive yet) until you get this sorted out because getting messages and other data from one mailbox to another is increasingly difficult as the amount increases.

By "mapping" I mean I went into "Options" and changed the mailbox location on the new PMail instance to the location on the old instance...eg. changed from C:/PMAIL/MAIL to F:/PMAIL/MAIL.
