Pegasus Window does not open

Thanks for moving my post.

There was nothing to stretch, nothing of the main window was visible.

But your recommendation to edit the PMAIL.INI was gold! Now I can check my mails again. Thanks a lot!

What I found a bit strange, there were a few more of these lines. So to be sure I edited all of them. Maybe there is one for each identity?

I have been running Pegasus for a long time now, the last three years on Win 7, just fine with only minor problems.

Then I upgraded from Windows 7 64 bit to Windows 10. Unfortunately the 32 bit variant got installed. Still Pegasus was running fine.

Yesterday I reinstalled my Windows completely new and now it is Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. Since then I have been unable to run Pegasus properly. It shows up in the task bar and the tray icon is there also. But I cannot switch to Pegasus. Alt-Tab shows a preview that looks fine, and as soon as I click it the task bar entry shows it becomes active. But no window is shown. Also trying to restore it from tray does the same. Ending Pegasus seems to send a shutdown notice to Pegasus because the next time I don't the message about a present lock file.

Is there a way to restore all the window layout to some standard? Or any other option I could try?

Thanks a lot for any help, there are mail messages from 16 years in my mailbox, I don't want to loose that.

Edit: Wow, First post and already in the wrong section. I swear I was in the Pegasus part of the forum...

First try stretching by grabbing a corner of the minimized window to make certain that is hasn't been inadvertantly shrunk to appear minimized.

It that isn't it, with Pegasus Mail closed backup the PMAIL.INI file (located in your mailbox directory) then open it with a text editor.  In the [Pegasus Mail for Windows] section find the "Application window rectangle" entry and change its setting to "0 0 800 600' (no qoutes).  Save and close.  Start Pegasus Mail and see if the window will now position top left.
