font size in messages...not headers

IER even allows you to set a larger default (zoom) size in its configuration (accessible via its toolbar button or main menu entry), and it should always work in HTML (formatted) messages, no matter what the author intended.

The font size in a lot of messages is very very smal, I can hardly read them. This is in the reader, message body, not the headers. Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks

With a reader window open go to the "Reader" pull down menu and select Font.  This will change the default display of plain text content.  You can't do anything about HTML content except to view it in a browser (right click > Open message in browser) then use the browser zoom function if needed.

If you are using Bearhtml or IERenderer  (default) as your Html viewer you can avoid the steps of invoking an external browser, just keying in one of the following:

Numpad '/' (÷) or '*' Attempt to Decrease/Increase fontsize (*)
'<' or '>' Attempt to Decrease/Increase fontsize (*)
'Ctrl + PageDown/PageUp Attempt to Decrease/Increase fontsize (*)

This does not always work, if the message composer has chosen to force a particular font size onto his text
