Pmail hangs while trying to open new mail folder

Thanks, Caisson. It was easy to locate the offending file by date. I still have another minor problem

which I will post separately.

When I try to open Pmail (4.7) the splash screen appears with the notice "Opening new mail folder ..." but won't continue.

I have to terminate the program using the Task Manager which indicates that it is using 25% of the CPU and has loaded

16,964k (about 45,000k is normal). I reloaded the program, but that made no change. Help! Please.

Using Explorer move all files with the extension cnm (new mail messages) from your mailbox and try a restart.

If that works you can add the cnm files back incrementally to find the one that is causing the problem.
