Crawls on opening, on opening messages and on other actions (Win 10)

I have excluded the folder from my AV scanner.  The thing is everything was running swimmingly till this week.

Subject says it all.  Everything went fine after my Win 10 upgrade for a month, then the other day this happened. It hangs, but if I leave things long enough it works. In the mean time other functions of my 64 bit computer also partially lock up.

make sure your AV and malware scanner are excluding the Pegasus Mail directories. Also make sure your TEMP directory is set up .   You may also want to run Chkdsk on your C drive.  It sounds like you have some sort of disk competition between tasks.  Use task manager to make a list of active tasks, and compare it every time you encounter this problem.

On my Win7 machine I see this whenever either Windows or my AV scanner do their update checks/installations (supposedly) in the "background" -  and it really drives my mad since it always appears to happen just the moment I'm starting to work on the machine (instead of while being idle) [:@]
