There is strong epidemiological evidence that refutes links between environmental triggers, in particular thimerosal containing vaccines, and the onset of autistic symptoms.

Dry shampoo can breathe life back into oily or dirty hair. However, if you use too much or use it for too many days in a row, it can make your hair appear dull. While Detox Dry Shampoo can prolong a blowout, make sure to still wash your hair as needed. Detox Dry shampoo absorbs oils, adds body, it's great for everyone, and can even help to extend your blowout.

Hello
When I exit Pegasus Mail (Ver 4.73 using Windows 10) I receive a box with the message:

Data error encountered in folder
Folder name: ......
File name: .... .PMM

** Error opening folder index file

Followed by instructions on how to solve the problem.

I cannot delete the folder as it informs me that the file is open (I cannot seem to close it)

I have tried re-index; no good.

Any suggestions please

Michael,

Alternatives:

DavMail, Thunderbird, IMAP, POP3, OWA etc.   Don't spend too much time on ActiveSync. Be aware that ActiveSync requires a direct link to MsExchange Server (inside a corporate network).

There are multiple tools to access Outlook and Microsoft Exchange database.

From the Microsoft website is the following statement:

Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5 is the latest sync software release for Windows Mobile-powered devices. ActiveSync provides a great synchronization experience with Windows®-powered PCs and Microsoft Outlook right out of the box. Note: Microsoft ActiveSync works only with Windows XP SP2 or earlier.

Hi Michael,

would provide Minidump - if I could install your tool. But it tells me, Pegasus is running?! It isn't for shure - Taskmanager doesn't show anything with Pegasus and MAILBOX.LCK does not exist in mailbox- or new-mail-directory in my homedirectory on server.

Name of addressbookfile ist 8.3 (ADDRZUNI.PMR) and even with path is much shorter than 63 characters (F:\PUBLIC\PEGASUS\VL\ADDRZUNI.PMR or in UNC is \\xxxx\xxx\PUBLIC\PEGASUS\VL\ADDRZUNI.PMR). In Pegasus the addressbook is named "Zentrales Adressbuch WiSo" which should be renamed to "Zentrales Adressbuch WiWi". I know that I can do it by editing the PMR and changing the two letters, but that seems not the normal way to me [:)]

PROBLEM IDENTIFIED! [<:o)] It has nothing to do with Pegasus! It's Google. Now it's just up to my university's IT to remedy it for me.

Today, with one short series of steps I found on the web. I successful linked my Pegasus 4.7 to Yahoo's IMAP server in mere minutes and had full connectivity - all my Yahoo folders and email appeared and functioned within Pegasus.

However, I had a maddening labyrinth to go through to link my personal (not univ.) Gmail to Pegasus with IMAP. You have to go into your Gmail account, go to Settings, then Forwarding and POP/IMAP, select IMAP "on", then follow a link at the bottom of that page to configure the setup, then follow another link to "Other devices" and finally click to another page to choose to turn "Less Secure Apps" ON - and THEN Pegasus can access Gmail's IMAP as well as Yahoo's! The number of steps to do so is absolutely absurd, but it's done now. And it works fine.

The problem is that my university has partnered with Google with their IMAP setup, and the U's user-unfriendly Outlook web interface does not offer this series of steps to select the necessary IMAP options to access my own university account via Pegasus as I've done for 15 years. And nobody will be back in IT until January 4th.

But now, at least I know it's not any problem with Pegasus and simply a new confounding problem created by Google, the ones who keep making the internet more difficult in the interest of needless innovation and monopoly. ("Labels" indeed! [^o)] Just give me folders!)

Didn't encounter that problem. If I enlarge the font in Windows, it will be enlarged in all levels of menueitems. Only Fonts for folderlist, editor and prieview have to be set in Pegasus.

Vielen Dank, Herr Michael. Es hat geklappt.  Mit Ihrer Hilfe wusste ich wo ich sein muesste und konnte auch noch die Funktionsliste unter das Menue eingeschalten.

There is a setting in Windows control panel (Regional and language settings -> Advanced settings) where you can specify the language for non-Unicode enabled applications. Set the language to "Cyrillc" in this dialog, reboot and you should see your cyrillic characters again within your folder names.

Hope this helps.

My default font for email text is 12pt.  I find that if I change the quoted text to 10pt, the distinction between quoted text and response text is markedly better improving the readability significantly.

In addition, sometimes the quoted text lines overflow the width of the response leading to vary scrappy layout, which can be fixed with Ctrl_J, although this tends to lump all following paragraphs into one large unreadable paragraph.  By reducing the text font, there is no need to reformat and this problem is completely avoided.

My suggestion is therefore to provide a parameter that allows the font size of quoted to be specified.

Sorry Yes, I mean MAPI.

With Thunderbird as client I can delete e-mail but can't set the properties from a message like the Urgent type

Thanks a lot Martin.

It's a shame that Pegasus doesn't  have an inline spellchecker, but a tool to check the message, as you wrote, is better than nothing.

Hi

I am wondering if this could be in any way related to a problem I am having in PM.

See Pegasus Mail Community Support
http://community.pmail.com/forums/thread/17046.aspx

My problem may be something to do with the language settings on the senders side.

Is there a way to use the RAW view to see what the language settings is the senders side?

Thanks
Peter
