Sending -error 450.

Thanks David.
The email does eventually go.. But normally it takes 3 or 4 retries.

A couple have gone out first time this morning.. !! Maybe they've sorted it ?

 Thanks again.

When email comes in to one user a copy gets emailed out to his orange mobile account, so he gets a text alert.
This has worked fine, but the last couple of days I've started getting errors:

I've noticed a little later some of the mesages have gone, but not all.
Any Ideas ? Is it me or Orange ??

Definitely Orange - the "450" error is being generated by their server (any line in the transcript marked ">>" indicates data from the remote system).

It looks like some kind of relaying or port-25-passage issue - they probably don't like the fact that you're apparently trying to relay mail from a non-local address through their server, although the error return they're giving is pretty poor if that's the case. It might also be some kind of greylisting implementation (it IS a 400-series error, after all, indicating that a retry should be made later), in which case the message would presumably be accepted and processed on a subsequent attempt.

Cheers!
