Pegasus Mail freezes

No, it doesn't matter which default printer is set up in IER, it doesn't have any impact on the day-to-day use of Pegasus Mail unless printing, it just jumps in if actually printing so you would certainly have noticed if this would be causing issues each time you print only.

Unfortunately the problem happened again.

So we're now back to what Brian already suggested before: You need to do a completely new install without putting in your complete old mailbox and then put all your old data files (i.e. none of your previous configuration files as a first step, only mails, folders and address books) into the new mailbox directory step by step, cf. his post up the thread at https://community.pmail.com/index.php?u=/topic/11681/pegasus-mail-freezes/1#post-54242.
