Hyperlinks

Not sure if anyone has experienced but I'm having trouble clicking on any hyperlinks sent to me they're just not opening (tried different colors and still no go. I am using windows 10& Firefox with FF using latest version. Any suggestions?

Also when I go to check my mail, the Pegasus logo appears but it will be about 40-45 seconds to actually hit the program.....server problems??

Try right clicking on the link and see what options are there.

You should get "Open link in browser" with a list of browsers available.

In Pegasus Mail, go to Tools > Options > Incoming mail > Hyperlinks. If you have the "Find browser automatically..." option ticked then there is an issue with Pegasus Mail detecting the system default browser. Rather than trying to diagnose that you can enter the path to firefox.exe in the "Web Browser commandline" field. If you do not have the have the "Find browser automatically..." option ticked then test with it enabled (restart Pegasus Mail). If still no joy, untick it and then use the Browse button to create the commandline to firefox.exe.

As a last resort try toggling the system default browser (eg: set it to MS Edge, reboot, set it back to FF).

Check these things:

  1. In the Pegasus Mail menu Tools > Options > General settings > Advanced settings ensure that the "Load Windows Internet Services" option is set to "Always"

  2. Make sure you have a system default printer and that it is accessible by the OS.

  3. A large number of unread messages in the new mail folder in conjunction with any new mail filtering rules can cause a delay each time the new mail folder is opened because each of those messages will be processed through the filter set.
