Thanks. . it works, and it's far easier to edit list properties with a text editor, and from another PC!

 However, you must restart Mercury for it to be picked up.

It might be worth mentioning this in the next docs.

Is it OK to edit this file in a text editor?

If it's OK, does Mercury have to be not running, or restarted after the edit?

sure can do. Just remember to increment the id nbr for each list.

You can easily verify the contents by going to the list management within Mercury
