There's a nifty little tool named poppass 1.05 for win32 written by Michael John Phillips / Vortex Software which I'm using since years. Unfortunately it's page is down and I couldn't find it anywhere else on the net so I'm providing it at my server: http://hideout.ath.cx/pp10532e.zip

I've installed Mercury/32 V4.52, and the PopPass Server is running.  How do I go about changing my password remotely ?  I use Mozilla's Thunderbird as my mail client.

Telnet into port 106 and issue help and you get the following.

 200 tstephenson.com MercuryW PopPass server ready.
help
100-Mercury PopPass Server v4.52
100-This server recognizes the following commands:
100-   USER     Enter your user (login) name
100-   PASS     Enter the password matching your username
100-   NEWPASS  Change your password on this system.
100-   QUIT     Logout and close the connection.
100 You must login using USER/PASS before attempting NEWPASS.
