Well, I though my workaround worked, obviously it didn work at all. I've fixed this now both for IERenderer and BearHtml, I'll announce an update in due course ...

Hi all,

just upgraded to 4.61 on XP pro sp3.  I've noticed the list of open windows now seems to only include the new mail folder and the folders windows. No other window open (ie a new message, a reply, the draft manager, queued messages, etc) show up. This is rather inconvenient when working with replies and opening several windows that get hidden behind others.

Is there something I need to set in order for these windows to be listed?

Thanks!

If IERenderer is enabled you'll see them again, it's a flaw in Pegasus Mail's MDI window handling (in connection with certain types of Pegasus Mail extensions) that I've implemented a workaround for - maybe I should enable it with BearHtml as well. As an alternative you might enable the Window bar by clicking the blue arrow at the bottom right of Pegasus Mail's status bar. Uninstalling IERenderer might help as well (via control panel's uninstall dialog) if you don't use it anyway.

Just FYI: I've created a new version of IERenderer providing this workaround for BearHtml users as well (plus some keyboard shortcut enhancements for BearHtml in preview mode like Shift + F1 and Ctrl + Shift + P working from any pane instead of only from the HTML preview itself). If anyone would like to test it please leave a note.

I have noticed a similar problem....

If I have IE rendering enabled and start working on let say 3 new emails at the same time I could before under "Window" menu option switch between the Main Folder window and all the three emails I was working on. This was very convinient when you wanted to "cut and paste" etc. Now I can only switch between the Main Folder window and one of the emails I have started to work on. The other are not found under the "Window". If I delete the email I can see then another one pops up!?? Strange!

Any ideas on how to solve this using the new IE rendering which I like.

Turn on the WindowBar using the blue triangle in the lower right hand cornet of the Pegasus Mail window.  The will allow you to easily move between Pegasus Mail windows.

Thomas!

I have been using Pegasus for 10 years or so and thought I had tried every trick in the system but that blue WindowBar function is absolutely fantastic!!!! How could I have missed it!?? This will make my work even more effective. Great - thanks!!!

Have you tried 'cool-switching'? Hold down Ctrl and press and release Tab until the required window is selected.  It is similar to switching between programs with Alt/Tab.
