Pre filtering spam emails into users spam folders.

This may be asking for the sky but here goes.   We use Popfile to tag potential spam and this works very well with few false positives or negatives.   Some of our users do though have a very high exposure to spam, possibly due to their past sins...   We do not generally leave workstations on 24/7 so when starting Pegasus or any other mail client first thing in the morning the spam filtering causes quite a delay before the users Inbox appears.  This is because we filter out spam on opening the mailbox as otherwise spotting real emails can be a bit of a challenge.

Is there a way to get Mercury to filter emails tagged as spam in to the user's spam folder so that their client does not need to do this on starting up?

Thanks

Nope, however you may have a number of options.  What I do is use a MOVE filter to put all of the spam in a spam user account and then the postmaster goes through the spam.  The postmaster will forward any spam to the proper user.  This way the users never see the spam at all.

A second option is to create a second account for all users.  The user Thomas would have a second account Thomas_spam and Mercury/32 would filter all the mail marked spam for the user to the spam mailbox.  The user then could use "Add mailbox to list" to put this mailbox into their folder listing.

If nothing else either of these options will keep the spam out of the users accounts and it will open a lot faster.

I am being plagued by spam which somehow gets through Spamhalter. A characteristic of this spam is that it is undated. Is there any way of filtering out any mail which does not have a date, please? Thanks
