Just wondering if you have explored the :Expression option in the new mail filters to sort your mail. Even if you can set some rules up, it could save on the number of remaining messages you need to move manually.

This isn't to say that your feature request isn't unreasonable though.

my mailbox contains a hierarchy of lots of trays and folders. Because after reading I choose the filing folder based on the subject rsp. content I can't move every incoming mail to a sender dedicated folder.

It would be nice (at least for me) to use a "Recent-used" list for selecting the target folder like it is possible for selecting the receptor.
