web user interface for mercury

Agree with Thomas on protection measures.

Search this site regarding "web mail" or "webmail" and you'll find lots of pointers to programs:

There are mail standards, so there should be some web interface that can work with Mercury/32. Have someone heard of one?

I use SquirrelMail with Mercury/32 with Apache and PHP.  Fairly easy to setup and it works well.  You can also use something like http://mail2web.com and this requires no setup at all.

We also use SquirrelMail and have made very good experiences with it.

My advise for installing a webmail interface is, to let it run on another machine than Mercury/32. So you can better protect your Mercury/32 machine against dangerous accesses from "the bad world outside".

Greetings
