I have now put in place some international dictionaries, and the small application called TinySpell. Though this application is not bound to Pegasus Mail, it can be used quite efficiently to check message compositions. The dictionaries and the application are located in http://community.pmail.com/files/folders/languages/ A user dictionary can be used for additional things like technical words and less frequently used words. 8-bit accented words are processed with or without the accented characters.
Please note this solution is not associated with Pegasus Mail and can be used for any purpose when wanting spellchecking done. An upgrade to TinySpell can be purchased, that will allow switching between languages. But for infrequent swiching, a simple batch job can rename the LEX and SUP files.
I am working on a version of ISpell, which is more complex and therefore less friendly for simple typo mistakes.
Lastly, please do not ask for support from the Pegasus Mail team (just me), as they are going to be busy with the new release of Pegasus Mail shortly.
